Two Words :: Think Future

Shall we talk about time? There are three aspects of time to consider from a day to day perspective: the past, the present and the future. How many of these do you believe you have a say in or have impact on? In one respect, you really only have an impact on the past and the future. Sure, you can make a choice or decision in the now, but the present is such a fleeting minuscule space of time. It lasts for just a mere moment, a tiny spec in the big scheme of things.

Time rushes through our life and a tiny point called the present like a high speed train through a train station called Now. We can barely enjoy the present moment before the future is upon us and that moment has been thrust into history. Granted, it's the very near term future which comes flying in, but nonetheless, it's the future that you experience for that special moment called right now.

What we do now, individually and collectively, determines the future and shapes the past; not only your past, but in many cases the histories of others. What we do now also has an impact on the future which is barreling into the present at breakneck speed.

When you consider this, it's no wonder that making the right choices and decisions is important. After all, you impact the future by creating it right now, this very second, with each and every decision and choice you make in the present.

An article called 'The Ten Part Mental Fitness Program' offers up some useful ways to help out. In just two words, think future.
