Fellow blogger Tony Clark over at Success From the Nest has a great post called It's Not a Fear of Flying - It's a Fear of Crashing which everyone will find interesting.
I posted a quick reply to add that it may not be so much fear of flying or crashing, but fear of not being in control (or at least lack of control). I'm a pilot with a few hours, yet I really hate to fly commercially. Not because I am afraid of flying (they physics work) or that I'm afraid of crashing (commercial aircraft are exceedingly strong and safe). It's really a fear of not being in control.
It comes right down to trust: trust in yourself for starters. So do you trust your decisions? Do you trust your thinking? Do you trust your conclusions and choices? You can start today and trust yourself.
