We're not talking about floating, but make a conscious effort to rise above the fray when the fray happens. What is fray you say? Well, chaos, malarkey, or just plain uncomfortable situations. Step back and look at the picture. So many times, we let ourselves get pulled into chaos because we fail at recognizing what's happening or we just can't help sticking our nose in where it either doesn't belong, or having there makes things worse. Stop, think and rise above, because only from that vantage point can you analyze a situation, identify the problem and formulate a resolution.
